This woman’s 911 calls failed to save her and her 8 year old son after Sanford, FL Police Department told her to stop calling them. Three hours after the 911 calls, Cashe kicked in Herring’s front door and unloaded an AK-47 killing her, the young boy and injuring four others, according to The NY Daily News.

In body-camera footage released by the Sanford PD, officers responded to a call that Latina Herring made about her boyfriend, Allen Cashe, 31.

Police were initially called to a gas station for a domestic dispute over house and car keys at 3:20 a.m. March 27 and then, 20 minutes later, to a nearby home. In the video, Cashe and Herring are arguing over keys, but the officers’ conversations are quite telling:

“She’s making false accusations; it’s the second time she’s done it.”

“She’s been calling all night. She first said he had a gun when he didn’t.”

“We’re going to handle it; just stop calling 911 and making accusations that you don’t know about.”

Another officer said on the video that it could have been Cashe who made the second 911 call because he feared he was going to hurt Herring. “I think he’s calling because he’s afraid he’s going to do something to her,” the cop said.

Three hours later, Herring and her 8-year-old son were dead, and her 7-year-old son, her father and two others were injured.
