President Trump has never shied away from sharing his opinion women’s appearances, whether positive or negative. The man has always felt entitled to chiming on a woman’s worth or ability based on her looks despite claims that he is a champion for women and women’s rights. Even when exposed as a sexual predator in the infamous “grab her by the pussy” recordings, 53% of white women still voted the sexist pig into office.

As a result, it is no wonder that he continues with his misogynistic ways on the world stage as President of the United States- why wouldn’t he? His election proved that Americans have legitimized his sexist views, and also says a lot about the standing of women in America today.

In the past he has issued low blows to his nay sayers- most publicly Rosie O’Donnell describing her as having a “fat ugly face”, as well as “disgusting”, and “a slob”. More recently, he drew criticism when he tweeted about Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski having “had visited him at Mar-A-Lago while she was “bleeding badly from a face lift,” a charge she subsequently denied.”

This time, however, Trump is under fire for making awkward commentary about France’s First lady Brigitte Marcon’s physical appearance- in front of both Melania and President Marcon.

As reported by The Grio:

Shortly after arriving in France on Friday, President Donald Trump commented on the physical appearance of France’s first lady.

“You’re in such good shape,” Trump told Brigitte Macron before turning to French President Emmanuel Macron to repeat the compliment. “She’s in such good physical shape. Beautiful.”

As for Brigitte Macron, her reaction was caught on camera, along with the compliment. Her back was to the camera, so her expression is not seen, but she does appear to grab the arm of First Lady Melania Trump and step slightly backward. The clip was part of a Facebook video stream on Macron’s account, and it quickly began to spread online.

The whole thing took place while the Trumps were touring the Hôtel National des Invalides, which houses the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Trump has been widely criticized for his treatment of women, especially his tendency to comment only on their physical appearance,

He also recently came under fire in June when he paused a phone call with the prime minister of Ireland to talk about the physical appearance of Irish reporter Caitriona Perry.

What are your thoughts on the President’ s behavior towards First Lady Marconi, especially in the presence of his wife and President Marcon? Do you think it was innocent banter, or indicative of Trump’s true sexist nature?
